Four people were killed and five others were injured in separate shooting events in Philadelphia on Friday night and early Saturday, including a 17-year-old who was in serious condition, according to police.

Around 8:45 p.m. on Friday, three people were shot, including a 21-year-old male who was murdered in the 5600 block of Baltimore Avenue in West Philadelphia. Michael Goodwin, of the 1200 block of S. Greylock St., was named as the victim.

A 17-year-old who is in “extremely critical condition” and a 16-year-old who is reportedly in stable condition were the two other casualties. They were both transferred to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Police say it’s unclear what caused the gunshots. No one was detained, and no firearms were found there.

A 43-year-old man was killed in a barbershop shooting in the 2000 block of Kensington Avenue less than an hour ago.

Police transported Adinson Suarez-Marte, a resident of the 3000 block of Hartville Street, to Temple University Hospital for treatment of several gunshot wounds to his body. He was declared dead not long after arriving.
