Josh Rachele (born April 11, 2003) is a professional Australian rules footballer whose parents embraced the European tradition that shaped him and which he hopes to share with his new teammates. For the 2021 season, he is drafted outside of the top 15 in the AFL Draft.

Rachele’s talents and abilities extend beyond football, as the 18-year-old was granted a Melbourne City scholarship after years of playing with the club’s young team. He was also initially selected for Australia’s under-17 squad but ultimately chose AFL over soccer.
