Alex Cora played for fourteen seasons in MLB for the likes of Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, Cleveland Indians, New York Mets, Texas Rangers, and Washington Nationals.

After serving as the bench coach for Houston Astros, Alex Cora was named as manager for Boston Red Sox in 2017. The Puerto Rican international is the fifth Major League Baseball manager to win the World Series in his first season.
