Isabella Harris The victims of a Saturday double-fatal wrong-way car accident in Lake County have been named as Ali Milita Sebastian of Crown Point, Indiana, and William Stepp of Wheatfield, Indiana.
Stepp, 48, and Sebastian, 28, both died in a multi-vehicle wrong-way collision on Saturday at Crown Point.
Police reportedly received a call on Saturday reporting a Chevrolet Equinox driving the wrong way on Interstate 65 close to Mile Marker 147. The car had already collided head-on with another car when authorities arrived.
In the collision, Stepp and Sebastian both perished.
The drivers’ identities were not released by the authorities.
The accident’s cause is still being looked into.
