The daughter of Downton Abbey’s Anna Chancellor, Poppy has died aged 36. Her mother Anna, along with other relatives, posted a tribute on social media. They called Poppy “an unbelievable life force” and thanked the Royal Marsden Hospital staff.

Poppy was and is an unbelievable life force of creativity, compassion, wit, beauty, and sheer uniqueness. She transformed our lives and we are beyond grateful.

Anna Chancellor is very heartbroken as her only child passed away, and Poppy Chancellor sadly died from myeloid leukemia, Despite every effort, her body could not continue any longer.  Poppy, 36, is an illustrator and paper-cut artist.

The British actress, In her early twenties, married the poet Jock Scot (1952–2016), with whom she had a daughter, Poppy, in 1988 while still studying at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
