Anya Taylor-Joy has become one of Hollywood's most sought after actresses. She's starred in some of the most popular works over the last couple years, including The Witch, The Queen's Gambit, The Menu, and most recently, The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Joy just shared a new set of photos on Instagram. In one, she stood outside in a swimsuit, her figure on display. How does she stay so fit? Joy opened up about her skincare secrets in an interview with Vanity Fair. "It took me a while to start washing my face, but now that I have makeup on it a lot, I like this cleanser by Chanel called Sublimage. It's the one thing that doesn't ever make me break out because I have such sensitive skin. There's a nutrient mist by True Botanicals which is really nice. I've spritzed it in the face of every boyfriend I've ever had. Moisturizer I'm a bit more witchy with, in the sense that I love olive oil, I love avocado oil."

Joy is all about accepting herself. She says to Vanity Fair that her hair is part of this journey to self acceptance. "I had hair that was long and super blonde my entire life. I remember it was a source of identity for me. I dyed it pink, and then I chopped it really, really short when I was 18. My hair was pretty much black when my career started taking off, and it almost felt like a nice front to have: 'This is the way I'm portraying myself.' I actively fought against going back to my roots. Now I'm in that period of my life where I'm like, 'No, I'm pretty O.K. with who I am'—or I'm getting there. I'm going to be a dark redhead by the end of the year, and I was copper last year, which I loved, so I'm very curious to see what a deep auburn feels like."

Joy makes sure to stand up for herself. Even when she's on set. "I laugh all the time," she tells Vanity Fair. "I'm a hugger, I like being happy—but when you stand in front of a wall of photographers, a lot of them who are men, and they're all screaming at you to smile, I get so pissed off. I'm not going to do something just because you told me to."

Joy opened up about her acting process with Vanity Fair. "I feel most comfortable when living with a character. What's funny—and I don't know if this is true because I've never done a straight-out comedy before—but film sets that are making movies about such dark subject matters are the happiest places in the world because you need that. Otherwise no one's going to survive. I do think there's a lot to be said for having the permission to scream as loudly as you possibly want, rather than just being in your room and putting a pillow to your face and screaming. I feel so much emotional release for that. It comes not from a place of my own, but from a place of empathy for the character. Joy tells Tattler Magazine that she loves to dance. "I don't have time to be a 25-year-old with a hangover. But I'm not someone who needs a drink to dance. Basically I've become very efficient at everything. I'm like 'What do I need out of this situation? I need to dance for a couple of hours, see my friends and have a good time', so I'm like 'Right, let's bang it out.' Then it's: go home, have a bath, get up for work. I sound mental, but that's what's working for me right now."
