No, Nick Cannon’s parents, James Cannon & Beth Hackett, aren’t married.

Reportedly, they divorced when the comedian was young. As a result, he used to go back and forth between California and North Carolina, growing up. 

Nick’s parents seem very supportive of his endeavors and personal life despite the split. Three is a record of his father, a televangelist, supporting his procreation efforts. James believes that Children are blessings and even encourages his son to make as much money as possible and have that same approach towards kids.

As for Beth, she seems shy of the spotlight. Nevertheless, she does have a good relationship with her son, which the ending of Nick’s music video of Can I Live where the two hug each other portrays. The song is about how his mother almost aborted him.

Nick Cannon Children & Family

Nick Cannon has six children. His five-month-old son, Zen, died from brain cancer a few weeks ago.

On 26 December 2021, he posted photos of his family on Instagram with the caption, Merry Christmas to all. The pictures show him smiling alongside his children.

The kids are from different mothers. Nick’s ex-partner Brittany Bell, a model, gave birth to 4-year-old Golden “Sagon ” and 1-year-old Powerful Queen. The two ended their on-and-off relationship in 2020.

Likewise, Mariah Carey, his ex-wife, is the biological mother of the fraternal twins, Moroccan and Monroe. The former couple married at a secret ceremony in the Bahamas on 30 April 2008, six weeks after their first date.

Three years later, they welcomed their children. However, their marriage didn’t last an eternity but came to an end in 2016. Despite that, they manage a friendly co-parenting relationship.

Similarly, Nick has kids with Abby De La Rosa, a broadcast professional and an international DJ. They are 6-month-old twins, Mixolydian and Zillion “Zilly” Heir. Reportedly, they are currently dating. 

Furthermore, his son, Zen, with Alyssa Scott, died on 5 December of this year. Welcomed him in July, the two soon learned about his malignant tumor. Doctors then put a shunt surgically to drain the fluid that was building up in the kid’s brain. Unfortunately, his health took a worse turn around Thanksgiving, and eventually, death followed.

Besides his children, Nick also has two siblings, Gabriel and Reuben Cannon.
