Of course not. Dio is Pucci’s God.. Seiichi Omori posted Asobouka. FC 4484-9264-2324 It’s possible to love somebody of the same gender without being IN love with them. Dio was basically a father figure to Pucci. Pucci and Dio’s relationship was one of my favourite things about Pt.6.
Enrico Pucci (エンリコ・プッチ Enriko Pucchi) is the main antagonist of Part 6. A loyal follower and friend of DIO, he implements a plan long formulated by DIO to “achieve heaven”. Pucci is a Stand User and manipulates the mind and soul through his Stand, Whitesnake.
But Pucci, who has been fully roped into DIO’s circle, believes that he can make everyone believe as fully in fate as he does, as DIO has convinced him to, which is why he’s so determined to recreate the world in DIO’s image, even though DIO has died. Pucci is studying to become a Catholic priest when he meets DIO.
What does DIO convince Pucci?
DIO wholly convinces Pucci that everything that happens in the course of a person’s life is the product of fate. Pucci wants to recreate the world in the image of this idea, convincing everybody to live as if they’re subjects of fate, and he nearly succeeds.
6 Pucci’s Entire Plan Is To Pull Off DIO’s Desire To “Achieve Heaven”. DIO dies at Jotaro’s hands, which means he isn’t able to pull off his overall plan. While Pucci doesn’t really seem to realize this, DIO just wants to establish himself as the most powerful person in the world.
As mentioned above, DIO holds sway over Pucci because of the idea of fate and how everyone is subjugated by fate, since no one can escape it. Pucci refers to this idea of DIO’s as “Gravity,” which makes sense as another irresistible force.
2 DIO’S Diary Allows Pucci To Develop C-Moon & Made In Heaven. DIO dies before he is able to achieve the world domination and unfettered power that he seeks. But that doesn’t stop Pucci from picking up the torch, still devoted to DIO’s cause even after his death.
5 Pucci Becomes A Priest. Pucci is studying to become a Catholic priest when he meets DIO. He does continue studying for this purpose for a while, until he begins to wholeheartedly follow DIO as a sort of deity. After DIO’s death, he chooses to continue on to actually achieve his priesthood.
But the myriad coincidences that occur leading up to him creating a new universe, like his eye being damaged in the final battle, ultimately lead to his downfall, which means that ironically, Pucci fails to achieve DIO’s goal because he’s fated not to.

Who is obsessed with Dio and Pucci?
9 Behind: Dio & Pucci. Here’s a pairing that happened almost as soon as Enrico Pucci was introduced in the pages of Stone Ocean. Pucci is fanatically obsessed with DIO and his vague plan to “achieve heaven”, and fans were quick to imagine that there was something more going on between these two villains.
Dio did some truly horrible things to Jonathan during Phantom Blood. He killed Jonathan’s dog, poisoned his father, forced himself on Erina, and would go on to take Jonathan’s body as his own. Not exactly an ideal partner.
Because Jojo’s is so focused on the Joestar bloodline through the ages, it’s become inevitable that some people ship different members of the Joestar bloodline. We saw this Jotaro and Josuke before, and now there’s Giorno and Jolyne, the main Jojo from part 5 and part 6, respectively.
Giorno and Mista are kindred spirits, which is probably the main reason they get paired so often. They work really well together and both of them are the type to not leave their teammates behind, so it makes sense that they’re paired up. And let’s not forget that Narancia went to his grave thinking they were together.
It might not have seemed like it from most of their interactions throughout Golden Wind, but Mista and Trish would actually make a pretty good couple. Even though Trish was either indifferent or cold to Mista for most of the part, after the two switched bodies near the end of the part, it seemed like the experience brought them closer together as friends.
1 Behind: Joseph & Caesar. Probably the most popular pairing in all of Jojo’s, we have Joseph Joestar and Caesar Zeppeli. Both are the grandsons of part 1’s respective Joestar and Zeppeli, so they already had a connection before they even met. Joseph and Caesar are a pairing that even the most ship-hating fan can begrudgingly agree is a good match.
Pucci is one of the very few people DIO actually respects and can call a friend. So much so, that DIO came to trust Pucci completely, even giving one of his finger bones to Pucci to remember him by in case he died. Plus, the scene with DIO and Pucci in the same bed did nothing to stop the shippers.
