Chariton Arnold Ferrin Jr., mostly known as Arnie Ferrin, was an American professional basketball player, executive, and college athletics administrator.

Arnie was born on July 29, 1925, in Salt Lake City, Utah, U.S.A.

Arnie attended the University of Utah where he played collegiate basketball with the Utes and earned All-American honors four times. He won an NCAA championship in 1944 and a National Invitation Tournament (NIT) title in 1947. During his professional basketball career, he played with the Minneapolis Lakers in the Basketball Association of America (BAA) and the National Basketball Association (NBA). They won league titles in 1949 and 1950.

Arnie Ferrin was married to a beautiful lady called RoLayne Rasmussen. Arnie Ferrin and RoLayne met while studying at the University of Utah in 1942. His father was Chariton Arnold Ferrin Sr., however, much is not known about his mother.
