The 12-year-old victim of what appears to have been a drive-by gunshot in Jefferson County, Alabama on Tuesday night as she slept in her bed has been identified as Audriana Pearson.

As Pearson slept in her bed on Tuesday night, drive-by shooting bullets entered her room and killed her.

The gunshot reportedly took place near Center Point’s 500 block of 16th Avenue Northwest at around 2:00 in the morning.

Pearson was pronounced dead from gunshot wounds by emergency personnel.
