Bethany Jane Mead is an English footballer who now plays for Arsenal and the England national team.

She was named Vauxhall England Young Player of the Year twice, in 2015 and 2018, as well as the PFA Women’s Young Player of the Year in 2016. She recently won the Euro 2022 tournament.

Beth is currently rumored to be single, however, she was previously dating Danielle van de Donk, a former Arsenal colleague.

She won the FA Women’s Super League’s Golden Boot award as the league’s highest scorer in 2015. Mead was formerly at Sunderland. She earned the Golden Boot with six goals in UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 as England won the tournament.

Mead was named to England’s squad that won the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 in June.

During the tournament, she scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Austria, her fourth career hat-trick against Norway, and another goal in a 5-0 win over Northern Ireland to cap a run of scoring in every group stage match.

She didn’t score in the quarter-final against Spain, but she did in the semi-final against Sweden, which she won 4-0. She did not score in England’s final victory over Germany, but her six goals were enough to earn her the Golden Boot, which she shared with Germany’s Alexandra Popp.
