Career and Musics

Adekunle Gold ventured into music as a teenager when he joined the junior choir in his church. He wrote his first song at the age of 15. He formed a band group with his friends in school but went solo in 2014.

Adekunle Gold released his first hit single Sade, a cover for One Direction’s Story of My Life in 2014. The song was nominated for the Best Alternative Song in Headies 2015. He signed a record deal with YBNL record in 2015 where he released his next single Orente. In 2016, Adekunle Gold released his debut album Gold.

Upon expiration of his contract he left YBNL record and launched 79th Elements
