Britney Spears’ boyfriend Sam Asghari assured her fans that she is doing ‘great,’ while at a mental health facility. Rumors have been going around that she is being held there against her will but other reports insist she checked in herself.

Now, her man updated fans on her state of being.

Earlier today, Sam opened up to TMZ paparazzi while out and about in L.A. when asked about his famous girlfriend.

As he was driving away, the dancer replied ‘She’s great. She’s doing amazing. Her fans are so amazing to be so concerned but she’s doing great. Nobody needs to worry, she’s doing amazing. She will be back soon.’

As you may know, earlier this month, the singer reportedly checked herself into a health facility.

One insider shared via ET that she needed it because her father’s health issues had taken a toll on her but also because of a change in her medication.

But if you’ve seen #FreeBritney trending, that was because there were claims going around that Britney was actually held in such a facility against her will and fans were trying to rescue her.

This rumor was started by creators of the Britney’s Gram podcast, comedians Tess Barker and Barbara Gray who claimed during an episode that they’d received ‘an anonymous tip from a credible source’ that alleged Britney did not want to be there at all but was forced to go by her dad.

That has not been proven and it does look like it’s not the truth given the fact that she previously left the center to get her hair done and also received a pass on Easter day to spend it with her boyfriend.

The two were photographed out and about on Sunday but since then, she’s returned to the mental health facility where her treatment continues.
