The accident took place around 10:30 p.m. when the car, driven by her friend Noah Smith, 17, crashed into a tree. Both Charlize and another passenger, Emma Jones, 16, were injured in the collision. Despite the efforts to save her, Charlize succumbed to her injuries, leaving a void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
