While on Ellen, Charlize Theron as well as her fellow guests, Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie, played ‘Would You Rather?’ with the host and that eventually led to her talking about the Brad Pitt dating speculations.

The three actresses stopped by the talk show to premiere a brand new teaser for their yet to be released movie titled Bombshell, set to drop in December.

But, of course, the interview became more fun when Ellen asked them to play a game of Would You Rather.

What Charlize was required to do was choose a man she’d rather date out of two shown on the screen.

That being said, when Brad’s picture appeared alongside one of Michael B. Jordan‘s, the actress took this opportunity to make a joke regarding her dating rumors with Brad.

‘I did not date Brad. No, but I apparently did. I had an entire relationship that I didn’t even know about,’ she said.

Ellen pointed out that the speculations started just because they were seen sitting together at an event.

Apparently, after attending some movie screenings, they also hung out at a bar at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont.

One eyewitness told HollywoodLife at the time that ‘Brad came over to Chateau after, changed his clothes and joined Charlize in a corner at the bar. She was on a vodka cocktail as he stuck to mineral water. They were ridiculously touchy feely and his arm was around her back. At one point he even winked at her. Brad seemed in a good place — they both looked really happy.’
