Cynthia Rodríguez is living the good life, in her swimsuit. The 37-year-old Mexican actress and singer shared a gorgeous selfie via her Instagram Stories over the weekend, flaunting her flat abs in a bathing suit top as she posed for a photo with her friend. One easy cardio exercise that blasts fat and burns calories? Jump roping. Cynthia has shared videos of her jump rope workout via her Instagram stories. According to her workout video, she does six minutes of jump roping as part of her routine. "As a general goal, aim for at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day. If you want to lose weight, maintain weight loss or meet specific fitness goals, you may need to exercise more," says the Mayo Clinic. 

Cynthia is a big fan of kettlebell workouts. The great thing about these exercises is they are effective and can be done almost anywhere as long as you have a kettlebell weight. "A kettlebell is a round weight with the handle attached at the top. A kettlebell can be used to do strength training exercises and to help improve grip strength. Kettlebells are available in many sizes," says the Mayo Clinic. 

In one of her Instagram Stories, Cynthia reveals that she does plyometrics. What is the method? It involves using speed and force while doing various movements in order to build muscle. Jump roping, pushups, and other jump squat exercises are a few of the plyometric moves she does. 

Cynthia makes sure to maximize the burn of every exercise but adding weight. Whether she is executing the perfect situp, lunges, or squats, you will usually find her holding a freeweight or kettlebell while she does it. "Use hand-held weights to strengthen your upper body. They're available in many weight ranges, and some are adjustable to permit a wide range of resistance," says the Mayo Clinic. 

Judging from Cynthia's workout videos, the only secret to her flat abs is doing a lot of abdominal work. Crunches, situps, planks, and bicycle style exercises are all part of her routine. Throw some cardio in, as well. Following a cardio workout plan that has you exercising at 70 to 80 percent of your maximum heart rate (during the first week) and 80 to 90 percent of your maximum (during the ensuing weeks) can help you lose weight.
