According to a family statement provided by WWE, Drozdov died of natural causes.

At the time of his death, he was a divorcee who was married once. He was married to WWE seamstress Julie Youngberg. The couple tied the knot in 1999 and sadly passed away in divorce in 2005.

He is the son of Olaf Drozdov and Cynthia Drozdov. He was born to his parents on April 7, 1969, in Mays Landing, Hamilton, New Jersey, United States.
