Diane Guerrero in Workout Gear Shares Workout Selfie
Sarah Parker Diane Guerrero has got that post workout glow. In a new social media post the Orange Is the New Black star shows off her amazing body in workout clothes while sweating after an intense exercise session. She shared the image via her Instagram Stories. How does the 37-year-old actress approach health and wellness? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
Diane filled Cosmopolitan in on a few things she learned from her mami. "She tells me about Himalayan salt and just scrubbing it all over your body. But that's also a little brujería [laughs]. She's like, "¡Sácate ese mal!" Most of all, drinking water, so your body and skin can stay hydrated," she said.
When she is feeling low, Diane indulges in self-care. "I do things that make me happy: Call my mother, get some fresh air, read a book. Sometimes I have pineapple when I'm feeling sad. It reminds me of summer joy, my mother feeding it to me for sweetness so I could feel better," she told Cosmopolitan.
Guerrero is a tea drinker. Her go-to drink is cinnamon & honey tea. "[I] drink that 4 times a day for a week, then take a week off, and do it again for a week. That is for skin & reproductive health," she told HOLA!
Guerrero told HOLA! that she grows a small garden because she believes sustainable food sources are the key to securing a sustainable future. "I also eat papaya & granadilla (which is hard to find in the states but I have found it at some farmers markets) which is great for digestion," she said.
Diane takes care of her mental health. "Certainly now that my mental health is better, the treatment toward my body has been a lot better. That's the one thing that I've noticed that has been so good and so amazing. I'm not saying, 'Hey, self care is just taking a bath or a shower….' Generally, I kind of just stay clean. And I try to remember everything that I have, like stuff that makes me feel better," she told Well + Good.
Diane also gets her zen on. "I start off with meditation and a shower in the morning," she told Well + Good. "When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress," says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:
