Therefore, it would make a lot of sense for her to at least try and maintain the good looks that brought her, along with her acting talent, the immense popularity that she has.

Rumors surfaced a few years ago, however, according to which Ellen Pompeo had a couple of cosmetic procedures done in order to look younger while also improving some of her facial features.

Although at first these rumors were only saying that she looks too good for someone born in 1969 and that she most likely had some work done to look the way she did, as of lately, the rumors are saying something else.

First of all, people are saying that Ellen Pompeo had Botox injections at least once over these past few years, and this is mainly due to her puffy cheeks. Whether not it was only Botox that she used or if she used other types of facial fillers we do not know.

Truth be told, it does look like Ellen’s face shows very few signs of aging while showing some signs of swelling. At first, it was believed that her face got swollen as a result of her gaining weight during the pregnancy, but as she slimmed down again after giving birth, her face retained its swollen shape.

When comparing older pictures of Ellen Pompeo with pictures of her today, we see a clear change in the shape of her face, especially her cheeks who now appear swollen and puffy.

It was celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn who first noticed how puffy Ellen’s cheeks look, saying that it was more than likely that she had filler injections into her cheeks.

Whether the rumors regarding her use of Botox injections are true or not, we do not know. All we know is that her face looks strangely swollen all of the sudden, especially her cheeks.
