“In Loving Memory of Matthew Rene Davidson: Celebrating a Life Full of Love and Passion”

Born on April 28, 1987, in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Matthew Davidson was a beloved son of Brigitte and Michael Lex Davidson, and a cherished brother to Michael Davidson Jr. His journey took him from the shores of Juno Beach, FL, to Montgomery, NJ, before returning to his beloved Florida to pursue his education at the University of South Florida, where he proudly graduated with a business degree.

It was at this juncture in life that Matthew crossed paths with his fiancé, Ben Lee, and their journey briefly led them to Palm Beach Gardens, FL, before settling in Nashville, TN. Although their paths diverged, Matthew’s love for Nashville and the LGBTQIA+ community remained unwavering. He dedicated his time and passion to the Music City Prep Clinic, where he wholeheartedly served the community he held dear.

Tragically, on September 10, 2023, at the age of 36, Matthew Davidson peacefully passed away in his sleep. His departure has left a void in the hearts of many, including his parents, brother, grandmother, and countless friends and acquaintances. Matthew was known for his infectious smile, open arms, and an array of passions that included cars, fishing, cooking, tinkering, remodeling, pets, cards, gambling, and much more.

A celebration of Matthew’s vibrant life will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rainbow Room at Music City Prep Clinic, located at 225 S 11th St, Nashville, TN 37206. The family kindly requests no donations but suggests that those who wish to honor Matthew consider contributing to the Music City Prep Clinic to support the LGBTQIA+ community. For those unable to attend in person, there will be a live Zoom session to commemorate his life and legacy.
