Billy is the owner and promoter of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). Corgan founded Resistance Pro Wrestling in 2011. He later became the president of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in August 2016.

Following his departure from TNA in November 2016, he purchased the NWA in October 2017, transforming it from a brand licensing organization to a single promotion.

Billy Corgan Transphobic Allegations

Last week, Billy Corgan continued his descent into obscurity by not only insulting, slandering, and threatening violence against Devi Ever, a Portland-based guitar pedal maker, but also making some incredibly transphobic statements on public display.

Fortunately, Devi Ever is a talented guitar electronics tailor and an extremely level-headed woman capable of responding to such obnoxious words.

The entire outburst resulted from a series of interactions between Ever and Corgan via Facebook and message board postings.

Following some negative feedback on several of Ever’s pedals, Corgan hinted on Facebook that he wanted Ever to design a guitar pedal specifically for him.

Ever took his time and enlisted the help of another Portland pedal maker to create the Silver Rose, which, even for Ever, appears to be a pretty sophisticated piece of gear.
