Fans are convinced Rihanna is pregnant with her first child. The Internet is freaking out over the possibility RiRi is going to be a mom.

On Thursday before the 5th annual Diamond Ball, Rihanna stopped by to have a chat with Essence magazine. The talk is where things began to spiral out of control. It is also why the Internet is now buzzing with the possibility of Rihanna being with child.

“I’m a black woman. I come from a black woman who came from a black woman who came from a black woman, and I’m going to give birth to a black woman. That’s who I am. It’s the core of who I am in spirit and in DNA. And I always stand up for what I believe in and who I love and who I know, who I respect,” she shared during the interview.

The words “I’m going to give birth to a black woman” quickly went viral with social media and her fans convinced RiRi announced she is preggers. Oh yes, the phrase has caused a frenzy among fans who could not resist commenting on what they believe is Rihanna’s pregnant announcement.

Some fans decided to use the pregnancy speculation as a way to joke about the fact fans are still waiting for RiRi’s highly anticipated album.

The ‘Work’ singer has been dating businessman Hassan Jameel since 2017. Rihanna has previously stated she is definitely in love with Jameel and can even see a future with him. The singer has also made it clear being a mom is a priority in her life.

However, just because RiRi wants to be a mother someday does not mean she is pregnant right now. The Internet is convinced Rihanna is expecting her first child but that is likely not the case.

There is no indication Rihanna is knocked up other than her words, “I’m going to give birth to a black woman,” which is more likely a general statement about her hopes for the future.
