Finnian Johnson is a country music singer, songwriter, and performer from Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. He is also a remarkable guitarist. Finnian came to the limelight in May 2022 when he appeared as a contestant in the eleventh season of the Australian reality television singing competition series, The Voice Australia.

Newcastle started singing at a young age and later started performing at the age of 13, playing a regular set at a local pub. After his first performance, Finnian knew he wanted a career in music. According to his LinkedIn profile, Finnian has traveled the country to perform at numerous festivals and to play alongside and support some amazing artists such as Ian Moss, Troy Cassar-Daley, Bill Chambers, Troy Kemp, and others.

Sonia Kruger returned as the show host while Keith Urban, Jessica Mauboy, Rita Ora, and Guy Sebastian all returned as season 11 coaches as it was announced on 11 October 2021.

For his blind audition, Finnian performed “July” by Noah Cyrus and impressed coaches Rita Ora and Jessica Mauboy who eventually turned their chairs. He ended up joining team Jessica Mauboy. His audition was aired on Tuesday, 3 May 2022. Finnian has already advanced to the battle rounds after his coach, Jessica Mauboy sent him through to her top 6 as of early May 2022.
