Gary Payton II is an American professional basketball player who plays in the National Basketball Association for the Golden State Warriors. Gary Payton II is the son of NBA Hall of Famer, Gary “The Mitten” Payton.

Gary Payton II played college basketball for the Oregon State Beavers of the Oregon State University. Payton II was a two-time First-team All-Pac-12, two-time Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year, and two-time Pac-12 All-Defensive Team.

Prior to joining the Golden State Warriors, Gary Payton II plated for the likes of the Milwaukee Bucks, Wisconsin Herds, Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, Raptors 905, among others.
