Greg Evigan, whose full name is Gregory Ralph Evigan, was born on the 14^th of October 1953 in South Amboy, New Jersey, U.S. He was born to Ralph Milan Evigan and Barbara Elizabeth Evigan. His father used to work as an electrician while her mother was a homemaker.

He was into music from a young age and began taking piano lessons at eight. With time, he also learned to play the organ and saxophone. During his teenage years, he was a part of several rock bands.

Coming to his education, he studied at Sayreville War Memorial High School, from where he graduated in 1971. For his contribution to arts, he was inducted into the school’s Alumni Hall of Fame in 2007.

Greg Evigan began his career in 1971 with a role in a Broadway production of “Jesus Christ Superstar”. His next role was in a Broadway production of “Grease”. In 1976, he made his debut with a role in the crime film, “Scorchy”. From 1979 to 1981, he starred in the action-comedy TV series, “B.J. and the Bear”.

Interestingly, the show’s theme song, “B.J. and the Bear”, was also performed by him. He then had a starring role in the sitcom, “My Two Dads” which ran from 1987 to 1990.
