Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of Hassan Salame, a Dearborn Heights resident and Arab American business owner, who was fatally shot during an armed robbery last night.

According to family sources, Hassan and his fiancé had just finished dining at Xushi Ko on Ford Road in Dearborn when he was gunned down near his black Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.

The cherished owner of Lama’s Florist, Hassan will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
