Marcus Jamal Hopson is an American music artist widely known by his stage name, Hopsin. Growing up, he was a troubled child and even spent a year in the Los Angeles County Jail. Upon his release from the jail, Hopsin decided to turn his life around and began pursuing his passion for music as a full-time career. Having first starting making and releasing music in the early 2000s, it took him almost a decade to finally release his debut studio album “Gazing at the Moonlight”.
