Mdot EBK, a talented young drill rapper from The Bronx, New York, lost his life in a gunshot on Wednesday morning, shocking the hip-hop scene.

He was just 18 years old and a Bronx native when he tragically passed away. Mdot EBK had already achieved a lot in the music industry despite his youth, grabbing the interest of both fans and industry insiders.

Reason for Death

The 18-year-old rapper was killed in the incident, which happened in the Fordham Heights neighbourhood, while another 19-year-old was hospitalised. Authorities claim that Mdot Ebk was shot and died as a result of his injuries on Morris Avenue, close to East 182nd Street.

The gunshot started at two in the morning, and the NYPD was on the scene quickly. According to reports, a white automobile approached down Morris Avenue before coming to a stop, at which point someone got out and opened fire in both directions.

Sadly, Mdot Ebk was shot in the leg, fell to the ground, and died. Despite their best attempts, emergency personnel pronounced him dead at the site. The second victim was taken right away to SBH Health System, where he was treated for his injuries and was later classified in stable condition.
