Hudson Schirra, 19-year-old Lexington, SC Student, Fatally Struck in Auto Accident at Blossom and Bull Street Intersection

Columbia, South Carolina – The community is mourning the tragic loss of 19-year-old student, Hudson Schirra, who was fatally struck by a vehicle in an overnight collision at the intersection of Blossom and Bull Street.

The incident occurred at the intersection, and at the scene, Hudson Schirra was tragically pronounced deceased. The Traffic Safety Unit of the Columbia Police Department is actively investigating the incident. Initial reports suggest that the young man may have been on the roadway unlawfully at the time of the accident. #ColumbiaPDSC Traffic Safety Unit is currently conducting a thorough investigation into the overnight collision.
