Anthony David Weiner is a former American politician who represented New York’s 9th congressional district from 1999 until his resignation in 2011.

He was a Democrat who consistently won the district with at least 60% of the vote. Weiner resigned from Congress in June 2011 after it was discovered that he had emailed sexually provocative images of himself to various women.

Wiener ran for mayor of New York City twice and finished second in the Democratic primary in 2005. In 2013, he ran again, finishing fifth in the Democratic primary.

Is Marc Weiner related to Anthony Weiner?

The two are distinguished individuals and are not related by blood in any way. It is just a coincidence that they share the same surname.

Marc Weiner is a stand-up comedian, puppeteer, and actor from the United States. He designs and performs using “head puppets,” which are live human heads mounted on miniature puppet bodies. Weiner was born into a Jewish household in Queens, New York.

Anthony Weiner, on the other hand, was born in Brooklyn, New York, the middle son of Jewish parents Mort Weiner, a lawyer, and Frances Finkelstein, a public high school maths teacher.  For a time, the family lived in Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood.

Anthony Weiner went to P.S. 39 The Henry Bristow education for elementary education. Seth, his older brother, was 39 when he was killed by a hit-and-run driver in 2000. Jason, his younger brother, is a chef and the co-owner of several New York restaurants.
