Mike Nussbaum is an American actor and director. Mike was born Myron G. Nussbaum on December 29, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois, the U.S. to a Jewish family.

Mike started his career in the film industry in his late 20s in community theater. In the 1960s, while he was active in a developing professional theatrical community in Chicago, he met David Mamet, an American playwright, filmmaker, and author.
