Ivan Toney began his career at the youth level with Northampton Town and made his first team debut in 2012. He had 13 goals in 60 appearances in all competitions before he joined Newcastle United.
He went on loan to Barnsley, Shrewsbury Town, Scunthorpe United, Wigan Athletic and back to Scunthorpe United from 2015 to 2018.
