American actress cum comedian, Molly Shannon has made quite a shocking revelation about her getting sexually abused by the late actor Gary Coleman.

The former cast member of Saturday Night Live made this revelation in her new memoir titled Hello, Molly!.

In an interview on The Howard Stern Show, the actress stated that during the early days of her career, the late Coleman invited her to his hotel room.

“He was trying to kiss me and get on top of me, and I was like, ‘Gary, stop.’ she said.

Gary Coleman died in 2010 at 42-years-old from an accidental fall.

According to the actress, she found out his father was a guy before he passed on.

She believed that his father, James Shannon succumbed to alcohol due to his struggles with being gay.

James Shannon was a source of inspiration to his daughter, Molly.

According to Molly, the former “Saturday Night Live” series was about her father.

James was a sales manager and he died of prostate cancer in 2002 at age 73.

Molly Shannon had two siblings but unfortunately, her kid sister, Katie Shannon died in a fatal crash in 1969.

That same accident claimed the life of her mother and cousin.

So she currently has only one sibling, a sister called Maty Shannon Beatty.
