Bell County Lament Young Musician JC Stringz’s Death

The loss of Jarin Thomas Cole, better known as JC Stringz, a gifted young musician, has left the Bell County community inconsolable. His family will always remember him for his remarkable musical abilities, friendly demeanor, kind heart, and selfless nature.

JC Stringz had a big impact on the community even as a young child. He displayed his extraordinary musical prowess as a dedicated member of the Greater Vision Community Church Band when he was barely 14 years old. 2019 saw JC graduate from Harker Heights High School in the Killeen Independent School District. He then went on to Boston’s Berklee School of Music to complete his musical studies. He was a senior and was scheduled to receive his diploma in May 2024.

When Jarin first picked up a guitar at age eight, his musical career began. At age ten, he began studying the violin. At age twelve, he mastered the piano. At the age of twelve, he began studying singing. JC, a multidimensional artist, wanted to make people happy with his songs.

All around Central Texas, JC Stringz gave performances at places like Billy Bob’s Burgers, Big Hoss BBQ, Dead Fish Grill, and Caribbean Ice in Killeen. He continued his musical odyssey in Austin, where he wowed crowds at prestigious establishments including Antone’s, The Skylark Lounge, and The Victory Grill.

In addition to his musical talent, Jarin was renowned for his charitable nature. He made a difference with his musical talents by frequently donating his earnings to help the less fortunate. His charity endeavors included collecting money for blankets and sleeping bags for the homeless, helping a buddy after a vehicle accident, encouraging a cancer survivor, and offering support to neighbors going through difficult circumstances.

Bell County mourns the passing of this budding musician and celebrates JC Stringz’s musical, charitable, and compassionate legacy. Others will be motivated to use their skills for the benefit of others around them by his memory in the future.
