Jeff Burton, a longtime host on 105.7 The Point in St. Louis, died Monday, about 17 months after being diagnosed with prostate cancer.

He died at aged 55.

In March 2021, Jeff revealed his diagnosis on The Rizzuto Show.

He started chemotherapy the following week and continued to contribute and co-host the show while undergoing treatment.

Jeff Burton’s wife, Juli Burton, stated that on July 2, 2022, he was taken to Missouri Baptist and received two blood transfusions and a platelet transfusion.

Doctors were able to stabilize Jeff, but the cancer had spread throughout his body.
