Brad Pitt was in attendance at his ex, Jennifer Aniston’s pre-Christmas party a couple of days ago and now, everyone is begging them to get back together! Of course, their reunion doesn’t necessarily mean they will be a couple once again, 15 years after their separation.

However, one insider report claims that it was still a ‘meaningful’ and ‘therapeutic’ meeting!

Apparently, the bash gave Brad the chance to see some of his old friends and also reignite his friendship with his former wife.

In other words, while fans were over the moon to learn that he was at the Christmas party, perhaps the most excited about it was Brad himself!

Fans would love to see them back together but that’s unfortunately not what is happening.

Still, one source tells HollywoodLife that Brad feels really good about being friendly with Jen again.

‘Spending time with Jen in a friendly atmosphere was therapeutic for Brad, who never wanted things with her to end on a sour note. It makes him happy, and it shows him that people really can figure out their differences and move forward. He finds it promising that he’s been able to rectify past faults and be in a great place again with Jen,’ the insider dished.

Besides, he was apparently at the party to see other famous friends just as much as he was there to see Jen!

‘Most of Jennifer’s friends are Brad’s friends too, so it was a nice chance for him to see a lot of people he cares about all at once. It was like a reunion,’ another source told the same news outlet.

As for Jennifer’s decision to invite him to the party, it was apparently really ‘meaningful’ to him since she started the whole tree trimming party tradition two decades ago, not too long after they began dating each other.

Being part of it again so long after their separation was, ‘actually pretty heartwarming,’ the source explained.
