Biography:

Jennifer Connelly was born on December 12, 1970 in Catskill Mountains, New York. She began her career as a child model. In 1984, she had her film debut in Sergio Leone’s gangster epic, Once Upon a Time in America.

In 1998, she gained critical acclaim for her work in the science fiction film Dark City and for her portrayal of Marion Silver in the 2000 drama Requiem for a Dream.

In 2002, she won an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award and a Golden Globe Award for her supporting role as Alicia Nash in Ron Howard’s A Beautiful Mind.
