Jeremy Renner and Sonni Pacheco divorce: Who has custody of Ava Berlin Renner?
Isabella Harris Sonni Pacheco, the ex-wife of Jeremy Renner, has been requesting sole custody of their daughter Ava Berlin for nearly five years.
The Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles received a request from Pacheco on Tuesday for sole legal and physical custody of Ava, 6, according to records obtained by PEOPLE.
Additionally, she is requesting supervised visitation while Renner, 51, is with their daughter.
Soon, Pacheco will provide documentation “and other evidence” to support her demand for sole custody. The couple was also required to go to mediation for child custody on November 7, in addition to the court hearing.
An inquiry for comment from PEOPLE was not immediately answered by Renner’s attorney.

The Avengers star and Pacheco secretly wed in 2014, and Pacheco later that year filed for divorce. “Irreconcilable conflicts,” according to the Canadian actress, were the cause of the breakup.
When they divorced, the couple agreed to split custody of Ava, with Renner promising to pay $13,000 in child support each month and an additional 5% if he earns more than $2.3 million annually.
With an income of $11.4 million in April 2018, Renner’s Marvel salary qualified him as an “exceptional high earner.” He was ordered to pay an additional $292,000 in child support that year as a result.
The former couple came to a new arrangement at that time that said Renner’s annual payments for 2018, 2019, and 2020 must not exceed $200,000, but any income over that cap would go into an account for Ava’s educational costs. Ava will have access to any remaining funds in the account when she turns 27.
