Jeremy James Siegel is the Russell E. Palmer Professor of Finance who is famous for appearing on media networks such as CNN and CBN.

Siegel gives extensive comments on the global economy and financial markets. He is a professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Siegel was born on November 19, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, United States. He had his secondary schooling at Highland Park High School.

For his first degree at Columbia University, he majored in mathematics and economics. After graduating in 1967, he furthered to obtain a Ph.D. from MIT in 1971.

Siegel studied under Paul Samuelson and Robert Solow, (both Nobel Prize winners) at MIT.
