Matthew Shields Comedian and artist Jim Carrey reminded fans that he still acts when he shared the newly released trailer for the live-action movie Sonic the Hedgehog. Carrey has gained worldwide acclaim for his political art that he features on his official Twitter account on a near-daily basis. A staunch critic of Donald Trump’s presidency, many of his drawings have gone viral and drawn response from both those on the right and the left. Art is meant to inspire thought, evoke conversation and ultimately initiate change and there is no doubt that Jim Carrey’s art does that.

In addition to the television series, he managed to film Sonic the Hedgehog that is set for a release on November 7, 2019. Jim Carrey plays the role of Dr. Ivo Robotnik.
