Chicago Blackhawks: Jonathan Toews, who missed the 2020-21 season of ice Hockey, disclosed he was diagnosed with an illness called the Chronic Immune Response Syndrom.

Jonathan Toews is an ice hockey player for the Chicago Blackhawks National Hockey League (NHL).

He is titled “Captain Serious” as Chicago Blackhawks picked him in the third pick in NHL Draft 2006 since he has stayed with Chicago Blackhawks. 

Jonathan was nominated for the Calder Memorial Trophy as a newcomer. In his second season for Chicago, he became the team captain. Moreover, he was announced as the second youngest NHL captain.

He also shared that Doctors named his illness chronic immune response syndrome, which he could not recover from, and his immune system reacted to everything. It was responding to every stress he was going through throughout the day.

He announced his illness in December 2021, revealing he was going through an unspecified medical condition that left him feeling drained. Then, in January, Chicago Blackhawks put Toews on long-term injured reserve.

Since the declaration, Toews was not seen at the team facility and did not issue any public comments about his condition.

After the news about Toews went over the internet, his fans and well-wisher showed support and love to him, wishing healthy life and a fast recovery. He also thanked his team for supporting and understanding his conditions.
