Jason Reid is a writer and editor best known for working on the Discovery Channel.

He became widely known through his marriage to the famous tv personality Joy Reid.

Between September 1991 and May 1994, Jason Reid attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in film and video production.

Jason Reid reportedly worked for NBC as a freelance editor from 2012 to 2013.

He co-founded a production company called the ImageLab Media Group. According to reports, the company focuses on creating documentaries, feature films, and post-production efforts.

Jason Reid is also a recipient of a People’s Choice Award and a Webby Award for his previous documentaries.

Jason Reid and Joy Reid married in 1997 after dating for a couple of months.

Through their union, the couple share three children; a daughter, Winsome Reid,  and two sons, Nasir Reid and Jmar Reid.

The Reids family resides in Brooklyn, New York City, United States.
