Sarah Rose is the granddaughter of well-known TV judge, Judge Judy. 

For over 2 decades, Judith Susan Sheindlin has not only provided justice to victims but also entertained viewers with her Judge Judy show. She is a household name, thanks to her bold and upfront personality. 

While Judy is a hero to many, her number one fan is her granddaughter Sarah Rose. As a matter of fact, Sarah is stepping in the same footsteps as her nana.

Sarah Rose, real name Sarah Rose Levy, is Judge Judy’s granddaughter. 

Rose is one of the 13 grandchildren of the celebrity judge. And, she is proudly following in her grandma’s legacy – both as a lawyer and TV star. 

Since 2021, Rose appears on the Judge Judy show serving as a law clerk to Sheindlin. She is seated right next to her grandmother and can be seen helping her reach the final verdict. 

Nonetheless, this is not the first TV experience for Sarah. Previously, she worked as the production assistant for the Judge Judy show. Similarly, she was also involved in Sheindlin’s other venture, Hot Bench. 

Before joining the Judge Judy show, Rose even wrote an open letter to her grandmother citing her as her “biggest cheerleader and supporter and her very best friend”

She added, “You taught me that the way to build confidence is to be independent and do work in your life that is meaningful and impactful.”

How Old is Sarah Rose?

Sarah Rose is the age of 25 years old as of 2022. 

Similar to her grandma, Sarah is a woman of talent and her educational background is no joke! She has multiple degrees from several universities.

She completed her undergrad education in both communication and business law at the University of Southern California in 2019. Following her bachelor’s degree, Rose went on to pursue her JD at New York Law School. 

Rose passed her JD in 2022. Her grandmother, who was invited as commencement speaker at the graduation, handed her the award. The same day, Sheindlin also received her second honorary degree from NYLS.

She also interned for The Late Show with Stephen Cobert for a brief moment. Furthermore, she has experience working as social media coordinator forHer Honor Mentoring.

Meanwhile, Sheindlin is very proud of her granddaughter’s career. She even calls Sarah her younger version copy.

During the show’s trailer, Sheindlin said, “she is wired like I am; she’s a little snarky… I like that.” She further added, “She’s smart, sassy, and opinionated. Who knows where she gets those traits?”
