Kelly Clarkson opened up about a health scare she went through while shooting The Voice. It apparently happened only a week after her appendix also burst.

It sounds like the star has been going through a lot this year.

As fans remember, only a day after hosting the Billboard Awards, Kelly got her appendix removed.

However, she suffered through appendicitis the whole week before, enduring the pain even as she was hosting the show for its 3 hour entirety.

She even performed not one, but two musical numbers that night!

But her health problems did not just end with removing the appendix.

As it turns out, a week after, as she was filming live shows for The Voice, a cyst she had on one of her ovaries also burst.

During an interview with People, she recalled that ‘Blake [Shelton] was talking to me and all of a sudden, everything that he said just went away and I just had to grab his arm. I was like, ‘Something’s wrong.’ That was more painful than the appendicitis. It was literally a week after the surgery so I was freaking out! I was laughing and crying histerically at one point in the E.R. like ‘What’s happening?’’

The singer went on to assure her loyal supporters that, despite the two health scares she went through back in May, she is totally recovered now.

‘I’m great now.’ I’m totally great now,’ she insisted.

Kelly is busy nowadays, getting ready for her own talk show, appropriately titled Kelly Clarkson Show.

‘I’m, like, very excited about it, but I am slightly terrified that people have that much confidence in me. I am like, ‘God, I hope I do not let people down! But no, I am pretty stoked about it…. It is going to be fun and also it is very serious,’ she said about it.
