Kim Kardashian West is working on a prison reform documentary. The reality TV spilled the beans about her latest project by releasing several behind the scenes photos from filming.

She has become an advocate for prison reform over the past year. Kardashian is now taking her criminal justice fight to a whole new level with a new documentary for Oxygen. Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project was announced via Twitter.

“We filmed a documentary I am working on that will be out on @oxygen, and I hope you will learn about the justice system the way I have,” Kardashian shared.

Not long after she shared her new project, the KKW Beauty mogul then unveiled a slew of behind the scenes photos from filming in a Washington D.C. prison. The mother of four also gave some insight into the documentary.

“Last week, I was so moved by Dr. @marcmhoward, a Georgetown professor who teaches a course inside of a Washington DC prison where these men and women can get Georgetown credit. I met so many amazing people that can’t wait to share their stories with you. We filmed a documentary I am working on that will be out on @oxygen, and I hope you will learn about the justice system the way I have,” she also revealed

Fans know the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is also studying to become a lawyer. Criminal justice and prison reform have become a passion project for Kanye West’s wife ever since she helped free Alice Marie Johnson back in 2018.

Kiki was also pivotal in helping get the First Step Act passed and launch the 90 Days of Freedom campaign. The campaign puts the act to work for prisoners who received harsh sentences for their crime.

Kim Kardashian has endured a slew of backlash since letting people know her desire to be part of prison reform. However, it hasn’t stopped her from working hard, along with a slew of advocates and lawyers to create change in prisons. People may not like her or her famous family, but Kardashian has undoubtedly shined a spotlight on a hot button topic.
