Laura Osnes is an American actress and singer. She started her career acting on stage, debuting as Sandy in the Broadway production of Grease. She next portrayed Nellie Forbush in the stage production of South Pacific. Osnes ultimately began her screen career, first appearing in the animated series Team Umizoomi in 2013. That same year, she guest-starred as Celia Carroll in the CBS series Elementary. Later in 2017, she was a performer in the PBS concert broadcast A Capitol Fourth. More recently, she portrayed Shirley MacLaine in the biographical miniseries Fosse/Verdon. She also starred in the Hallmark TV films In the Key of Love and A Homecoming for the Holidays.
