Miley Cyrus wasted absolutely no time moving on from Liam Hemsworth after their shocking split back in August. And now, the Australian actor seems to have found someone new – 22-year-old model and actress Maddison Brown.

TMZ cameras caught Hemsworth and Brown holding hands on Thursday, October 10th while they walked through the West Village in New York City, and then the couple stopped for some food at the Italian restaurant Sant Ambroeus.

The sighting comes just days after an insider claimed that Hemsworth was “open to meeting people” now that his decade-long on-again, off-again relationship with Cyrus – that included an eight-month marriage – is officially over. Hemsworth filed for divorce on August 21st after Cyrus made her fling with Kaitlynn Carter very public.

The source also claims that Hemsworth wants what is best for Cyrus, “even if it’s not him.”

The 29-year-old actor and the 26-year-old singer met when they were just teenagers on the set of the 2010 movie The Last Song. After a whirlwind romance, break-ups, and a called-off engagement, the couple finally tied the knot in December 2018 in an intimate ceremony at their home in Nashville, Tennessee in front of close friends and family.

When they announced their split, Hemsworth and Cyrus revealed in a statement that they had decided to do what is best, which is to focus on themselves and their careers.

While Hemsworth has just been spotted with a new woman, Cyrus has been much more active with her dating life since her split from The Hunger Games star. After dating Carter for a few weeks, they went their separate ways. And now, the Wrecking Ball singer is currently dating Australian singer Cody Simpson.

Liam Hemsworth is currently shooting a new TV series in Canada, while Cyrus has been releasing new music. Not long after her split from Hemsworth, she dropped Slide Away, which many people believe has multiple references to her broken relationship with her longtime love.

As for Maddison Brown, she is an Australian actress and model who played Nicole Kidman’s daughter in the movie Strangerland. Currently, she plays the role of Kirby Anders in the Dynasty reboot on the CW.
