Nothing much is known about his family background and who his parents are. He was musically inclined from the early age of seven and his parents lent him their whole-hearted support so that he could succeed as a singer. His first performance at this age was at a second grade talent show. After this he performed at various clubs and community gatherings across his home town. He created a flutter as a new singing sensation wherever he performed and soon people started taking notice of his singing prowess. Getting the support of his family and parents at such a young age helped him to concentrate on his singing to the fullest extent. Soon he became a very popular rap artiste and got noticed by Kevin Wales of ‘Worldwide Entertainment.’ Soon after this, about six months later, his talent was showcased to L. A. Reid of Def Jam Records and he got his launching pad to fame at the age of ten after signing a contract with the company.
