Mandira Bedi is heating up the Maldives in her swimsuit. The Indian actress shows off her incredible body at 50 in a bunch of bathing suits in one of her latest social media posts. "This holiday has been nothing short of spectacular 🌊🏝️❤️🙏🏽Thank you Maldives for the beautiful blue ocean and gorgeous white sand. Daily exercise helps Mandira achieve her fit figure. She hits the gym at 6:30 am almost every day.  "I work out five days a week, and make sure I include cardio every day. Apart from going to the gym, I also like to swim and run," she told the Hindustan Times. 

Mandira also runs. "I usually run once every ten days but when it's the monsoons, I run all through the season. So far, I have done two half marathons," she told the Hindustan Times. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say. 

Mandira exercises her mind and body with yoga. "Started my morning doing a set of #sunsalutations on top of the world 🥰 at the #aerbar .. and I know it's going to be a #lovelyday," she captioned this image of herself striking a yoga pose. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," they said. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."

Mandira keeps track of her activity with a Garmin watch. "When you live healthy, you live better. Mandira maintains a healthy diet. "Many people think that because they work out, they can eat anything. But your diet is 70% important, and exercising, only 30%. And on the other hand, there are people who starve themselves. Instead, find nourishing foods you like and eat more of those. Adopt a sustainable diet because you can't beat what you eat," she explained to Hindustan Times. She is a vegetarian, but does eat eggs. She also has a sweet tooth. "Come Friday or Saturday, and my diet goes for a toss. If I'm having wine on a Friday night, I have to have chocolates with it. In fact, I have a weakness for everything chocolate – be it desserts or ice cream. I also love binging on cakes. I mean, it's somebody's birthday, somewhere, right?"
