Mark Geist Biography

Mark is a member of the Security Annex that led the fight from Benghazi to Libya from 11 to 12 September 2012. Originally from Colorado, Geist joined the US Navy in 1984. During his tenure, he served in a military camp. Air Force in the Philippines, then in Battalion 2 of the 9th Marine Golf Company, as well as in the Monitoring and Purchasing Department.

He was then selected to participate in the newly created Marine Corps program as an instructor in the fight against terrorism. After completing a highly successful and relocated trip, Geist switched his expertise in military intelligence, specializing in interrogation. He attended the language school where he studied Persian.

After 12 years at Maine College, Mr. Geist became Taylor’s deputy sheriff of Colorado. In that role, he was assigned to the Colorado Springs, Colorado Information and Drug Unit to investigate child crime. He has been certified as a judicial inquest for children, investigating numerous cases of abuse in which he helped convict those responsible.

He took over as chief of police in Fowler, Colorado. After leaving the Fowler Police Department, Mr. Geist began his investigation, as well as hunting and chasing.

In 2004, Geist began contracting in Iraq. He worked in Triple Canopy, providing personal safety information for the Foreign Ministry of Bakuba, Iraq. Following the conclusion of this contract, he trained in USIS, US Investigation Services, Iraqi SWAT teams and personal data. He called the former Iraqi Prime Minister’s Department of Personal Security Dr. Also served as a consultant for Ayad Allawi.

Geist ended his career as a security contractor in Benghazi, Libya, where he had the opportunity to live with more than 25 Americans. Mr. Geist is still recovering from the wounds of war.
